Ignilife is a product but it is above all a team. Today we meet Guillaume Adam, one of the oldest members of the team despite his young age!
Guillaume, for those of you who don’t know you, could you introduce yourself?
Hello, my name is Guillaume ADAM, I am 29 years old, I have been working at Ignilife since the very beginning of its creation (2014). Formerly a developer, I spent more than a year in a rather product-oriented role (Product Manager). I also take on the role of Product Owner as described in the SCRUM framework within the production team.
Why did you want to join the Ignilife adventure?
I was looking for a job in the field of mobile development while I was studying, and the opportunity to work for this young start’up came up. Since then, I have been able to observe the different development phases of Ignilife, and this has been a great source of motivation to continue working in this company and to develop the application. I think that being involved in the start’up environment since its creation really reinforces the involvement you can have, and offers a great professional development.
How would you introduce your job to a 5-year-old child?
My job is to make sure that the Ignilife application is the most suitable for the people who use it, while ensuring that it generates enough income for its creator to continue to exist.
What do you prefer in your job?
My favorite part of my job as a product manager is to organize and lead creative/functional workshops that define the new features of the product. I find it very satisfying to celebrate the effectiveness of a feature that was deployed weeks earlier, when it was only an idea of experience a few months ago. All trades are involved to achieve this result, and the return on investment of a functionality is only the consecration of a good organization of the production chain from end to end. For me, a good product manager has as a single objective the smooth running of each step necessary for the effectiveness of a product.
What does prevention and health coaching mean to you?
Health coaching is a growing need these days because we all want to be healthy. We live in a world where everyone wants an answer to their questions, quickly and personally. Ignilife’s coaching and health prevention solution perfectly meets these needs, but also those of the company offering the solution to its employees. Indeed, health prevention is now a key factor in the effectiveness of a company, especially in some foreign countries outside the EU, where health problems have much more severe impacts on company costs.
What is there more Ignilife in you?
A fan of sliding sports such as snowboarding, wakeboarding…. I continue to practice motocross in leisure after years of competition at the national level.
